The Big Sad Wolf

Don’t believe everything you read. If you thought the Big Bad Wolf was all about blowing down houses, eating grannies, and being big and bad…think again! This hilarious ‘mash-up’ of all your favourite fairy tales, featuring Red Riding Hood, The Three Little Pigs, Goldilocks and many more, will tell the true story of this sorry, star-crossed sheep in wolf’s clothing.

This brand new fairy tale will have your whole school (teachers included) thoroughly entertained and educated.

Performed in 2013 by Dan Allan, Greg Cooper, Lizzie Tollemache, Josh Butler, Sarah-Jayne Phillips and Adam Standring

We thought the show was fabulously entertaining and funny. It had something for everyone. The humour was simple, innocent and genuine. We laughed the whole way through and came away inspired by very creative people. The actors were very clever and polished and were very respectful to the children. They listened to everyone and managed the pace of the show and responses beautifully. A great show. Well done!!!!

Contact, show information, booking, invoicing and price excellent. Wonderful literacy links with our curriculum. Kids loved the costumes and the performance. Staff enjoyed the show, particularly how the content could entertain adults as well as students from Prep-Year 6. Our Yr 5/6 teacher commented on the content that related to bullying, cyber bullying, friendship and core values we are trying to teach students. In the past we have had shows to deal explicitly with this but thought The Big Sad Wolf did a better job and was much more entertaining.

I have been teaching 24 years, it was the best school show I have seen in that time. The delivery was engaging and professional. I loved the way it engaged the audience at different levels – even the teachers found it hilarious! Well done on a fantastic show. (all our staff were unanimous, as were the children)

We have always found your group to be professional. They are always on time, ready to go which makes such a big difference in the organisation of a big school. The kids were completely spell-bound from start to finish, and in this day of instant on screen gratification, that takes some doing. We have spent the rest of the term looking at story-book wolves, and my class of 7 year olds are now totally on the side of the wolves as a result of your performance– it was one of the best we have had–and the others were always excellent.
