Rap-unzel

Rapunzel is the hot favourite to win ‘A Land Far Far Away’s Got Talent With X Factor Idol’. She’s a teenage triple threat, with the voice of Lady Gaga, the dance moves of Beyonce, and the hair of… Rapunzel!

But when she refuses to sign a contract with the udderly ruthless moosic producer Simon Cow, he locks her in a recording tower high above the enchanted forest to steal her singing voice with a magic tape machine.

What can Rapunzel do now she can’t sing? Rap!

With the help of a very handsome Fresh Prince, some very long hair, and a smattering of all your favourite fairytale characters, it’s time to flip this fairytale upside down, wave your hair in the air like you just don’t care, and put the RAP back into RAPunzel.

Monique, Josh and Luke were fabulous. The show was enjoyed by all ages including staff and performed with enthusiasm and energy. The Q and A session afterwards was extremely professional and valuable to all of our students.

We love NZ Playhouse performing at our school! This is the 2nd time we have had a performance and have LOVED both times! Staff and students really enjoyed the performance, the actors/actresses were so friendly and answered a myriad of question after question with delight. Thank you so much for the enjoyable performance! We will definitely book in for next year!

Once again, an awesome show by wonderfully talented young people. The kids loved it, the teachers loved it. Can’t wait to have you back again next year! Thank you.

The play was delightful. Well written so it appealed to a wide range, it had the adults chuckling away and the juniors were enthralled. The actors did a great job. The set design and props were colourful and helped tell the story. Communication with organisers was clear and timely.
